Hello Hurricanes!

Volunteer signups are now open on the SwimTopia site. You can find the volunteer positions available by clicking on the Meets & Events/ Signup Calendar from the top of the page, and then choose "Job Signup." This is easiest done on a computer rather than mobile device.  You are also welcome to declare your swimmer(s) as attending/ not attending if you know your schedule already.

This year we are moving to a point system for volunteering.  Each family is required to sign up for FOUR (4) POINTS.  Most positions are worth 1 point, though some are worth 1/2 and some 2.  The point value is indicated on the signup.  We have over 260 positions to fill over the course of the season and meets can't be run without our fantastic families! We will be checking :).

We have also added a few "first time" volunteer positions during Time Trials for our new families.  If there is a job you think you might be interested in becoming more familiar with, this is a great meet to try.

If you are interested in learning more about being a stroke & turn judge - please reach out.  The Greater Charlotte Swim League plans to hold another clinic prior to the start of the season.

We are also looking for a computer volunteer to train for this season. This position is responsible for entering times into the computer. Perks include working in the clubhouse with AC and the first to know the score! This position is good for a family that has kids that are self-sufficient at meets and plans to stay with the team for a few years.
